Monsters are mythical creatures that have a profound impact on our imagination and fascination. They have left a mark on the folk, culture, and psychology of mankind. The fact that humans are so fascinated by these ugly-looking beasts tells us that monsters attract humans due to the darker aspects of human nature. It triggers anxiety and fear as they symbolize the vulnerabilities of humans. From centuries to decades, the monsters and their mythology have been ruling throughout the literature captivating us with its darker themes.

These mythological creatures intrigues the human psychology with its unique features like head of a lion or body of human or something resembling with a fish or marine creature. Although, many of these mythical creatures have only existed as the part of mythology but history is evident of few being existed in ancient times. The fossils have been studied and deciphered dated back to several BCs. It is important to preserve the remnants and save any creatures if they still exist today, as they only exist in a particular vicinity of the countries.

This interesting monster in mythology can be described as a dog-like animal with spikes running down its back, like a porcupine. According to sources, this monster is said to inhabit Puerto Rico, South America and Mexico. 

In 1995, a farmer in Puerto Rico found it and since then it has captured the public’s imagination and intrigued them about this rare creature.

This mythical creature is based in Africa. It has strange features i-e an elephant-like body, snake-like tail and a long neck. It was first sighted by a hunter in 1909 from the locals. This creature is said to have existed for more than a century.
